Shipping
Way of shipping
Original artworks come unframed and are shipped flat in a reinforced cardboard envelope, unless it is explicitly written otherwise on the product page. Paintings are shipped once a week (within 2-5 business days), from my studio in Salzburg, Austria; by Austrian post.
Giclée prints are printed on demand and ship in a heavy cardboard tube, directly by the print-shop on my behalf. Small sizes will come in a cardboard reinforced envelope. Depending on your location, the manufacturer will choose the nearest facility to your destination: UK, EU, US, CA or AU. Prints are usually ready to ship within 3 to 5 days.
For the moment I offer only standard insured mail with a tracking number. The tracking number and corresponding link will be attached in the confirmation e-mail that you receive once your order has been sent off. Please note that shipping time will vary depending on your location.
Delivery
Austria and Europe: 1 - 7 business days*
Rest of the world: 5 - 20 business days*
* Some countries, remote cities or islands may have longer delivery times. Please get in touch if you need a more exact delivery time for your country/city and note, that I can’t take responsibility for any delays out of my control, like customs delays etc.

Taxes
VAT and duties
All prices indicated in the online shop include the requested taxes (VAT), if applicable. At check out and on invoices VAT will be shown separately.
According to Austrian law artists are charged with 13% VAT/MwSt on their activities and goods.
Please be aware that international orders (outside the EU) may be subject to duties and taxes imposed by the destination country which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient‘s country. In this case, you would be responsible for any additional charges. Unfortunately I have no control over this, nor can I determent if there will be any costs and what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country but you can contact your local customs office for more information.

Return Policy
Right of Revocation
Any customer has the right to revoke this contract within 14 days, without stating reasons. The period of revocation is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (but who is not the carrier), took possession of the goods. The purchase price minus the shipping charges will be refunded.
How-to
If you indent to return a product, please drop us a quick note before you ship it back to us. The items must be returned unused and in the same condition as they were upon receipt, in the same original packaging and need to be shipped properly packed and trackable to your own charge. Note that the right of withdrawal is annulled if you use or damage the product in a way that obviously reduces the sales value significantly.
To exercise your right of revocation, you need to inform me with a clear and explicit statement (e.g. by letter, e-mail, fax) about your intend to revoke this contract at:

If a returned item is shipped from a country outside the EU, please clearly mark the package ‘RETURNED GOODS’, to avoid any customs charges. Thoth Adan is not responsible for any customs charges regarding the returned parcel. Any charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.
Refund
When we have received the items and approved the return we will return to you all payments which we received from you except shipping costs, to your account within 14 business days.
Damaged goods
In the case of damages incurred by shipment, please send a photographic documentation and contact me right away.
