The Études Circulaires are a print series exploring spiritual, philosophical, and Zen-related questions through the circle as a central symbol. Each of the 21 works follows a journey — from concentration and centering to the completion of the circle, and the possibility of beginning again.

“This philosophical journey inevitably raises questions about truth and reality. Is there a universal truth — or am I simply interpreting my own Weltanschauung? Sometimes it feels like glimpsing through openings in the blurred, illusory image we call reality — a notion reminiscent of the Hindu-Buddhist concept of Maya. On other occasions, I am simply full of questions.”
