The Taogram works capture the expressive gesture of the brush — a depiction of energy at a specific moment, rooted in the Japanese traditions of Shodo and Zenga. Each work is a snapshot of the Tao's ongoing flow, or a symbol of whatever was being contemplated when the brush met the paper.
